I studied at Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology in Tulsa, OK, and subsequently obtained my Airframe & Powerplant License. This is a federal license that authorizes me to perform maintenance on all types of aircraft. I have also worked in a variety of other fields, both before and after: food service, retail, warehouse. I think that the work experience I have accumulated over the years has equipped me to handle a wide array of new and exciting challenges.Since 2015 I have been recovering from a catastrophic injury on the job that rendered me unable to work as a mechanic any longer. In the meantime I had taken up short-term positions with Walmart and TruGreen.I have chosen Information Technology because I’ve been building my own computers and solving minor technical problems since early high school. So, while I am accustomed to some of the ins and outs of the technology, I now have the opportunity to take my skills to the next level and improve in a field in which I already consider myself somewhat familiar. To that end I am currently studying with intent to obtain my Net+, MTA, and Sec+ certifications as soon as possible.Outside of work, I’ve been playing drums since the age of 13, and have dabbled with bass guitar for the last 10yrs or so.
