I have a journalistic background that I still speak of lovingly, and sometimes longingly. My instinct to uncover stories drives me, whether it's about a person, a company, a project, or a product—everyone and everything has a story to tell. What I loved most about journalism was the opportunity to become a temporary expert in specific topics. Even for just brief moments, it was an incredible honor.These days, I've retired my journalism hat and applied what I've learned to Branding for an amazing organization that I have been lucky to be a part of for over a decade. Skyline is a truly unique commercial real estate organization that puts people first. I've always felt that this organization and I spoke the same language when it came to operating on a human level. We don't just build projects, we build environments and spaces where communities of talented people can do great things for the world. We get to do this with a group of very fascinating, passionate people that blow our minds every day with what they do. The nature of our work allows us to see the growth of industries like tech, law, finance, insurance and beyond. We've witnessed a small startup turn into an industry giant. We've also seen the flip side of that coin; but it's in those times of downfall that we also witness inspiring resilience. Journalism isn't behind me; it’s now part of me. My passion now is to tell stories, not only through writing, but also with graphic design, content, photography, video and more.
