NW CyberCom is a project lead by Lancaster University to support the commercialisation of Cyber and digital IP assets arising from academic projects across the Partner Universities : Lancaster, Manchester, MMU, Liverpool, Salford and UCLan Working with professional knowledge exchange staff and academic colleagues my responsibilities include identifying and managing the exploitation of cyber and digital opportunities, maximising the commercial impact of partner university's IP portfolios. Undertaking analysis of market opportunity, and wider due diligence including proof of concept. Scoping resourcing required, helping to build credible management teams. Engaging with stakeholders in the investment arena to help and support successful fundraising. I will utilise my extensive corporate banking and investment experience to prepare and support Spin Out fundraise opportunities. I will support the development of a regional ecosystem to accelerate research commercialisation and to facilitate a buoyant and respected source of investor focused opportunity within the region.
