Veroplane Inc. is an aerospace technology company that brings a new, highly-innovative and disruptive aircraft technology to the aerospace market. The technology is being rolled-out in a family of aircraft that will be both manned and unmanned. These fixed-wing aircraft will be capable of taking-off and landing vertically at full operating weights; once airborne, they will be capable of flying at altitudes and speeds normally associated with fixed-wing aircraft. Compared to normal helicopters, the Veroplane aircraft will be capable of cruise speeds two to three times faster and 50-70% more fuel-efficient; and will carry similar payloads 3 times the distance. The aircraft will attract maintenance and acquisition costs some 50% those of helicopters. that have the lift characteristics of a helicopter and the flight characteristics of a winged aircraft.
