About Chuck Thompson

I came into the insurance industry right out of college in 1994 by going to work for my father, Jim Thompson. He purchased a very small agency in 1980 and became very successful in handling the insurance and bonding needs of contractors. In his mentoring I learned that selling insurance was secondary to solving customer's problems and being an advocate for our customer when it came to dealing with the insurance company. This mindset led me to gaining a richer understanding of insurance coverage and how to relate that to our customer's exposures.Insurance is a complicated industry and consumers need an advocate on their side to navigate the complexities of their business as relates to insurance. My passion is studying coverage and trends of the insurance industry and sharing this knowledge in hopes of providing a better understanding and expectation of insurance, helping clients manage their exposure to losses AND reduce or control their insurance costs.Specialties: Construction Insurance, Experience Mod Analysis, Contract Bonds.
