Since working with Townsquare Media, I have written regularly for a number of their national online music publications, including Loudwire, The Boot, and Ultimate Classic Rock. The main focus of my writing is interviewing artists, and I've had the distinct privilege of chatting with some of the biggest musicians in multiple genres including Rob Halford, Rob Zombie, Vinnie Paul, Zakk Wylde, Jason Isbell, Patterson Hood, Jim Lauderdale, Neal Casal, Chris Robinson, Rich Robinson, and many others.

In addition to working with several different radio stations across the country, I host a weekend shift on WCYY in Portland, Maine. I also launched and host The Ultimate Metallica Show, airing Sunday nights from 10p-Midnight on CYY.

Writing for No Depression, I regularly contribute to the online side of the publication with album reviews and larger interview features with artists like American Aquarium, Bright Eyes, Drive-By Truckers, and more. I have also written for the print edition of the magazine.

LEAD.NYC exists to nurture leaders in community for the spiritual and social flourishing of greater New York City. I have experienced this as a pastor and now as the Decadal Plan Director for LEAD.NYC's 10-year vision in Metro New York. I oversee a team of full-time and contract employees, connect regularly with non-profit leaders across the country, and assist in executing events and communications for the organization.

And in doing so we learn, we grow and better understand and better connect to the greater world around us."When I left Townsquare Media, the above message was sent to me from one of our executives, and I believe it captures my journey up to that moment. While at Redeemer Presbyterian Church, I helped launch the Lincoln Square congregation on Easter Sunday 2017. During my time on staff, I focused primarily on mercy and justice initiatives as well as our faith and work ministry. I was ordained on December 2, 2018.

I began with Townsquare in 2012 and worked in a few different capacities: I first worked on the corporate level interacting with 312 radio stations and their on-air talent, integrating their on-air content with their digital presences.Following that, I joined the SVP/Programming to help manage all programming for the radio stations. This included creating a company-wide playbook for news/talk radio stations, and getting every radio station in the company transitioned to GSelector.I also served as Editor-in-Chief for Diffuser, Townsquare's former national alternative/indie rock brand, and steadily increased monthly traffic and grew brand awareness across the industry.

I initially served as the Web Program Director for 77 WABC (WABC-AM) and eventually transitioned into the role as Program Director for the station. I launched Geraldo Rivera's first-ever radio show of his career, which involved coordinating and managing his team, creating imaging, building the show clock, and much more. Due to the nature of his career, his show also involved several remote international broadcasts.I managed all on-air promos, coached weekend talk show hosts, worked with syndicated hosts (Don Imus, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, John Batchelor, Larry Kudlow, et al), handled all digital efforts for the station website, and served as a fill-in on-air host when needed.

In my bi-weekly column, Digital: On-Air, On-Line, I took a look at how personalities and brands could benefit themselves by embracing new media, including social media, video, blogging, podcasting, and more. The Friday edition of my column was often an interview with industry professionals like on-air talent, producers, record label pros, and program directors.My column came to an end due to my work with Townsquare Media.

Originally owned by Citadel Broadcasting, I managed the online content and assisted in digital sales and marketing for 77 WABC (WABC-AM) and 95.5 'PLJ (WPLJ-FM). I oversaw all online content, social media, and marketing for both stations, which combined delivered—at the time—more than 3 million page views and 500,000+ podcast downloads on a monthly basis. I handled all video production for both stations, too, including on-the-street segments for 77 WABC and in-studio artist performances for 'PLJ.

I hosted the overnights, seven days a week, on 98.9 the Rock (KQRC-FM), helped lead the new blogging platform for the station, served as the on-air talent for station remotes, and did stage announcements for local concerts.

I worked with the eight stations at Entercom Kansas City: KMBZ-AM, KUDL-FM, KXTR-AM, KCSP-AM, KBLV-FM, WDAF-FM, KRBZ-FM and KQRC-FM. We sought to make the content found online as, if not more, compelling as the on-air broadcasts.I created and managed FreeJohnnyDare.com as well as all the social media networking for 98.9 the Rock (KQRC-FM). I also worked with 96.5 the Buzz (KRBZ-FM) to launch the first iterations of their podcast platform.

I hosted 980 at Night every Saturday night on NewsRadio 980 KMBZ (KMBZ-AM), and served as a regular guest host for Darla Jaye, the daily evening personality.

Between graduation and joining Entercom Broadcasting in Kansas City, I served as an interim morning show host and midday host on 1440 The Big Talker (KMAJ-AM). The morning news program was two hours, and the midday slot was three hours, Monday-Friday.

During my final semester at Kansas State, I worked as a weekend producer with KCMO Talk Radio (KCMO-AM), owned by Cumulus Broadcasting. I produced The Kris Kobach Show on Sunday nights, and produced other local programming, while managing weekend syndicated programs, too.

I engineered and/or tape-synced interviews around Kansas for All Things Considered and other programs on NPR.

I worked in the Veterinary Medicine Continuing Education department, producing audio, web and video modules for students to access outside of the classroom. I dealt primarily with Adobe Audition, Final Cut Pro, and Dreamweaver. I also worked with producing, shooting, and editing HD video. My term as assistant came to an end upon graduation.

Throughout my time with The Wildcat 91.9 (KSDB-FM), I served in a number of capacities, including hosting an award-winning talk show and a weekly Americana/alt-country show. I received nine awards from the Kansas Association of Broadcasters during my time at the station. My final role with The Wildcat 91.9 was that of Program Director. I managed 10 different staffs, led weekly meetings, and served as the primary fundraiser for the station within the student government.

During winter break at Kansas State, I interned with the Promotions Department for "The Rock Block" of Entercom Broadcasting, primarily focused on 96.5 the Buzz (KRBZ-FM) and 98.9 the Rock (KQRC-FM). I helped plan and implement station remotes, contacted advertising bureaus, and helped with on-air giveaways. My internship ended in mid-January because I had to return to school for my last semester.

As a student at Kansas State, I began as a weekend DJ and then handled weeknights until a permanent jock was hired.Power Hits 97.5 (KJCK-FM) is a Top 40 station owned by Eagle Communications.

I worked as a reporter/photographer for the number one small town paper in the state, The Atchison Globe. I was on Christmas break at Kansas State, so I had to stop working when classes resumed.
