Responsible for all occupational safety and physical security activities for the Andersen corporation.. As the corporation took on dramatic growth during this time in both size and geographies throughout North America, I was asked to take on a larger roll to support these operations and functions. Responsible for all code and regulatory requirements as they pertain to occupational safety and health for the Andersen Corporation. This includes, occupational safety training, auditing, program development, code interpretation and application as well as managing a +10 member professional staff. Also refined claims management process and workers' compensation workflow. Functioned as critical resource for operations team delivering meaningful value to the corporation and to meet customer expectations

Initiated safety program for organization to function as one dedicated department responsible for all safety and health related manners. Managed injury reporting and workers' compensation administration, including claim investigation, consultation with medical providers and claim managers to maintain a pro-active restricted-duty.return-to-work program.

• Directly responsible for all contracted occupational safety support programs for a 3,600 acre government facility in the manufacture of ordnance and marine system weaponry.• Government classified status as “top secret” for direct safety support of armament development programs• Oversaw and directed safety and health programs at multiple manufacturing and office operations throughout the U.S.

Responsible for provided general industrial safety and occupational health support for over 1,200 workers at three ordnance production facilites. Included government contract and regulatory oversight for explosive safety, laser development, and depleted uranium processing operations. Provided all safety training, inspection and audit programs, and general code interpretation and application.
