About Chuck Thompson
After 13 years in the United States Marine Corps, I have been working in the Defense Simulation arena for the last 19 years. I have extensive experience in simulation computer hardware and software, electrical and mechanical prototyping and construction with a technical troubleshooting, customer service and a technical training background.I maintained a 3.9 GPA while attending college as a part-time student to earn my degree in Computer Programming and Web Development with a desire to work in the fast paced and continually growing high tech sector. I am known as a self-starter with strong team building skills who quickly turns concepts to completion. I am a strong leader that maintains quality while meeting or exceeding goals and deadlines.Each year I enroll in Continuing Education classes related to robotics, programming or electronics in order to keep myself up to date and be able to relate to the current changing landscape. I believe that robotics and computers are an ever evolving product and without the knowledge to stay relevant, it would be easy to fall behind.Several hours a month I enjoy giving back to the community by volunteering as an instructor and assistant with Bluehair Technology, a non-profit organization that educates seniors in the use of current technology to improve the quality of their lives. I believe that working with seniors to keep them connected with family and friends contributes to an improved well-being of the senior.
