Developing GIS at The Conservation Fund through spatial data creation of conservation acquisition projects, managing spatial data, creating visualization products in ArcGIS Online, analyzing data using environmental metrics and Python scripting, and creating engaging, informative maps for staff and partners.

Helping to locate and create data for legacy conservation projects, organize and find parcel information, and produce impactful metrics with the data created.

• Collect data from over 400 peer-reviewed articles regarding climate change impacts on species’ distributional range shifts, ungulate adaptation, and ecosystem services. • Perform data analysis using database and spreadsheet input/manipulation.• Create science communication and data visualization products using ArcGIS story maps, google sheets, R Statistical Programming, and ESRI ArcGIS Pro.• Assist with the preparation of 3 systematic review reports and manuscripts. • Organize citations using Mendeley and Zotero.

• Conducted a comprehensive literature review on the definitions, methods, and analysis used to assess forest degradation.• Analyzed the potential and limitations of the different approaches identified to assess forest degradation, along with their implications across the different forest biomes.• Developed a brief report with findings from the literature review to share main insights with colleagues.

• Attended meetings and aided in an international working group on biodiversity and ecosystem functioning.• Contributed to an article on increasing the uptake of ecological models by creating a case study box on a marine ecosystem model.• Collaborated with communications specialists in order to successfully present findings to a broad audience.

• Assisted with the planning and design of a systematic review on climate change’s impacts on species’ distributional range shifts.• Designed and conducted a literature search using Web of Science, Scopus, and Google Scholar. • Reviewed the titles and abstracts of 11,581 candidate papers alongside teammates to ensure consistency in inclusion/exclusion of papers.
