As a Peer Mentor I took on a group of 6 new UCD students and helped to integrate them into their new life as members of our school. This was during COVID-19, therefore we had to go the extra mile to use resources like Zoom and Hangouts to give the students tours and have group chats with them to answer questions and relieve any uncertainties.

For 8 months in 2023 I completed an internship in Analog Devices international as an Applications Engineer in the Automotive Cabin Experience division. During my time there, I learned about the responsibilities of being in a customer-focused environment, developing and building demo hardware that will showcase at events such as CES and the development processes of each component from the initial planning, to fabrication, to testing and evaluation and to final release. I was mostly involved with ADI's IEEE 802.3cg compliant E2B 10BASE-T1S technology. During my internship, I used my experience in embedded C programming to establish sensors on edge nodes in a 10BASE-T1S network. I also used my experience in Python to develop scripts that will streamline the flow of developing register control documentation and changeover documentation that customers will used to gain familiarity with our hardware.When new interns arrived to our team during the later months, I took a lot of responsibility to make the onboarding process as smooth as possible for them, and get them up to speed with our hardware, which was a great experience in leadership and knowledge transfer.
