My academic background spans economic journalism, music technology (the business side), and communication management.Over a period of five years, while lecturing Marketing and Business Management at Stellenbosch University, I consulted for an international NPO network on the internal and external stakeholder communication and paperless facilitation of global leadership conferences (in Germany, Sweden, Turkey and Panama). I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism from Rhodes University (Reserve Bank scholarship, specialising with a double major in Economic Journalism and Creative Writing), a BComm Hons Communication Management from the University of Pretoria and a MPhil Music Technology (focusing on Music as Business) from Stellenbosch University.
