I cared for their diverse business interests including assisted living facilities, memory care units, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, in-patient hospice houses, hospice and palliative care services, physician’s offices, medical equipment services, ambulance services, pharmacies, restaurants, and a gym and conference center. I oversaw construction renovation and repairs, responded to requests from financing institutions and governmental agencies concerning property information, and met with inspectors and addressed deficiencies noted. I provided construction administration services for a new in-patient hospice facility and coordinated the application and approval process for the CON, construction approval with the Department of Health Facilities Construction, SCDHEC licensing, and provided support to operations staff as needed with the Medicare certification process. I assisted with real estate transactions, provided on-site inspections for facility code and regulation compliance, and maintained the contract documents library.

I am an experienced project architect familiar with a wide variety of project types, including K-12 schools, higher education, senior living, business and government work. I am an experienced specification writer, product researcher, and code reviewer.

I handled all phases of a project from procuring the job, design, construction document preparation, construction administration and project closeout. I also developed the office specification master and maintained it. Project types included office buildings, retail, churches, master planning, residential, restaurants, and municipal buildings.
