ILN Coaching and Consulting is a reboot of the Innovation Learning Network. A combination of systems thinking, design thinking, and strategy that enables organizations and leaders to achieve more impactful innovation efforts.

At Hopelab we build mental-health digital tools that improve the lives of teens. It is part social innovation lab and part investment fund, and together these pieces fuel exploration, testing, and impact. Through systems thinking, human-centered design, and motivational science we are able to tackle challenges that have outsized impact potential. Moreover, our work is through co-creating directly with young people - they are centered and part of the team.-Co-led the foundation via the executive team - joint responsibilities include finance, operations, strategic direction, and curation/maintenance of project pipeline. -Developed and maintained external partnerships to advance the mission. -Cultivated the overall innovation approach, its infrastructure, and operational excellence.

The ILN was a one-year project funded by a grant that continued on for 15 years. Its mission was to connect healthcare organizations, design firms, and foundations to share innovation knowledge and build a thriving network of transformers. Driven by the principles of Open Space Technology and Liberating Structures, it bridged the gap between leaders (mission and vision) and doers (operations) for greater overall impact.-Built and led a novel healthcare innovation consortium of 40+ international healthcare organizations, design firms, and foundations to share/learn/connect on healthcare innovation efforts. -Designed and convened in-person conferences, virtual learning, and other events for healthcare executives and innovators.-Coached healthcare executives on innovation and design

KP is one of the premier integrated care delivery systems in the US. And the Innovation Consultancy was a first-of-its-kind, award-winning department that embedded human-centered design into the organization and fielded a multi-disciplinary innovation “swat team” that tackled complex challenges system-wide.•Led and managed innovation initiatives including researching, brainstorming, prototyping, testing, measuring and rapid-scale up•Co-created infrastructure of innovation/design including methods, tools, networks, spaces and teams•Designed and implemented innovations in: Perinatal Services (3 hospitals), Nurse Shift Change (35 hospitals), Medication Administration (18 hospitals)•Conducted and lead design research in: Workplace Safety (3 hospitals), Social Space of Elders (4 cities) •Developed and lead trainings on methods of innovation and creativity•Nurtured cross-departmental and cross-regional relationships to embed methods of innovation throughout organization•Managed and coach design team
