• Learned Natural Language Processing (NLP) fundamentals, such as POS tagging, data cleaning, stemming, and lemmatization, using Python and Jupyter Notebook.• Implemented clustering algorithms like K-means, DBSCAN, and HAC to process articles and analyzed large COVID-19 news datasets.• Extracted and processed noun phrases from the dataset and converted them into vectors.• Annotated clusters under specific tags and used the Elbow method to determine optimal parameters for each algorithm.• Researched and implemented methods for selecting the optimal number of clusters (k) for kMeans, DBSCAN, and HAC clustering algorithms.• Explored Deep Learning using BERT and fine-tuned pretrained NLP models with Huggingface’s Trainer, then used the model to annotate examples of noun phrases.
