My role incorporated the management of the IBM Innovation Centre, which provided the rallying point for most of the IBM EcoSystems business objectives and activities where International Software Vendors, Business Partners, Solution Integrators are provided with easy access to IBM skills and equipment to help migrate, test and optimise their skills, applications and/or product knowledge. These programs were designed to develop strategic relationships with my client that supported and enabled the use of emerging technologies like Cloud, Mobile, Analytical and Social. We develop C-level strategic road maps for a profitable link to the IBM marketplace that accelerated time to revenue. I launched the IBM Global Entrepreneurial Program in 2012, which produced an IBM Global Entrepreneurial winner crowned in New York. The Entrepreneurial program has seen over 500 applications, of which 81 have met the qualifying criteria. 2014 saw 6 SmartCamps across Africa from one in 2012.

I was a specialist consultant and support for Rational Services, Technical Sales and Sales teams for Central Europe, Middle East and Africa. Provided enablement and training for all IBM pre-sales, technical services and business partner enablement. Lead various application software projects on-site with the customer quality assurance, test & development teams for companies like Zurich Financial Services, National Commercial Bank (Saudi Arabia), Dubai Islamic Bank, Dubai eGovernment, Emirates Bank, Ministry Of Interior (Saudi Arabia), Ministry Of Informatics (Bahrain)

The Rational SWAT Team team was a pre-sales/services role set-up to help assist IBM and Business Partners sales teams position Rational Testing products with the Customers. Internal projects included integrating Rational products into IBMs in house development projects, the ww IBM Innovation Centers, and the IBM Labs at Hursley, Montpelier, Boeblingham etc. Lead many projects around application software quality and testing working on site with the Customer QA/test & development teams for companies like Al Rajhi Bank (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia), Zurich Financial Services (Zurich, Switzerland), Ericsson (Kista, Sweden), ENI (Milan, Italy), GAD (Munster, Germany), Unilever (UK), Defra (UK).
