I am responsible for the digital engagement programme and supporting the delivery of MHA’s Marketing & Communications Strategy.

I was responsible for improving GAVO's brand identity and for developing, implementing and promoting the organisation's Marketing & Communications Strategy.The scope of the role included marketing strategy, research, evaluation, design & production (print & digital), campaign and event planning, social media and website management.I designed and produced a wide-range of promotional materials including flyers, leaflets, business cards, vouchers, complement slips, bookmarks, selfie frames, pull-up banners, email signatures, content for social media platforms & websites, stickers, tote bags.As GAVO has a wide-range of work streams, I often planned and managed multiple campaigns and events concurrently - promoting them through social media, website and print. I regularly liaised and collaborated with external agencies and partners, particularly Local Authorities and other Third Sector Organisations. I also supported the IT Officer in helping staff with IT queries and produced training materials & delivered hands-on IT Skills sessions in Office 365, Mail Merge, Social Media Good Practice and Windows 10 Top Tips.

My role was split between the Human Resources and Finance departments (and Facilities when needed), completing a wide range of tasks (from processing staff payroll to preparing induction packs) and meeting strict deadlines in a busy, fast-paced office environment.Main Duties included:• Played a key role in the small project team that successfully implemented the ISO9001 Quality Management System• Responsible for processing the staff payroll and a number of client pensioner payrolls using Sage Payroll 50• Processing payments using online banking and updating manual and electronic cashbooks• Producing invoices on Sage Accounts for billing clients, and also posting purchase invoices, credit notes and journals• Helping carry out inductions and responsible for training staff on how to use Simply Personnel Self Service and to record working time using QTime & Flexisheet• Assisting with the administration of the recruitment process e.g. making notes during interviews and preparing contracts • Responsible for maintaining central training and CPD records.
