BVIS invited me to come back on board in order to manage the Online Marketing on an interim basis and source and train a new Online Marketing Manager, following the departure of the Manager I trained previously. I particularly enjoyed working with BVIS again, as it enabled me to further my communication and problem solving skills targeting the Vietnamese market, as well as working closely with my Vietnamese colleagues again which was a great experience. I interviewed and selected the new person and conducted a handover to settle her in. I was also responsible for evaluating the digital marketing agency, reviewing and updating the strategy and coming up with a six month online marketing plan for admissions season.While at BVIS my responsibilities and achievements were: • Review and developed the online marketing strategy for BVIS• Assessed and updated the job descriptions for Online Marketing Manager and Assistants• I arranged meetings and built relationships with the BVIS team and the external agency team so we could plan the approach together and work collaboratively• I interviewed four candidates for the manager role and selected the best person based on her experience, skill set and enthusiasm for education• I researched the current campaigns of other international schools online and recommended improvements or additions so BVIS could get the best exposure• I learned the new Nord Anglia CRM system on the website so I could support the team and work with IT• I completed a year on year analysis report using Google Analytics to compare the impact of the website migration and paid online advertising• Sorted the online marketing reports and folders on Office to catalogue and report more effectively• Reviewed and recommended budgetary spend (50,000 USD) for online marketing• I supported the promotion of school charity and student events working closely with teachers in particular

I managed the delivery and development of all digital communications and strategies. I worked closely with Marketing & PR, Admissions, IT, Business Managers, Head Teachers and Principals. I conducted a research audit of over 40 international schools in Vietnam and studied competitor approaches to online marketing in order to inform the strategy for BIS Group. I provided consultancy on using social media for business for two clients, (an author and a furniture company). I worked with my clients to analyse their approach and that of their competitors, understanding their brand values and customer service promises and studied whether they were conveyed successfully online.

I helped clients to build mutually beneficial relationships with their customers and partners by communicating effectively via social media. I had a varied role at Stickyeyes which required me to utilise many different skills. I acted as a PA to the Sales Director, which included managing an extensive new business pipeline, organising our working environment and contacts database (SugarCRM) and assisting with proposals. I also developed new business myself and I won a number of Clients for the company. I did this through prospecting research, cold calls, email marketing, sample reports, online demonstrations, generating proposals, submitting responses to RFP and tenders, face to face meetings and presentations, online networking and social media. Account management was also part of my role for the Market Defender software, and I was responsible for communicating maintenance times to clients, generating reports and dealing with any customer services issues. Effective communication, organisation and flexibility were key to this position and liaising with many different types of people across all departments.

With 2 years experience in Supervisory role in Soft services and 1 Year Experience in Business Development in the IT software industry selling into Service Providers in Engineering and FM sectors I built upon the background I already had in FM and learnt valuable lessons regarding the importance of culture, experience, attitude and skill in the workplace.Specialties while at Core:The Facilities Management Industry, including the following areas: Hard FM: Property Services, HVAC, M&E, Facilities Maintenance. Working in Facilities Management I built up a portfolio of new candidates and clients. Within a week of starting the role I had sourced 6 vacancies and matched a candidate to a role. I interviewed candidates in depth both on the telephone and face to face. This enabled me to improve further the skills I had picked up whilst at iDynamics. I worked reactively by matching candidates to vacancies I was working on, and proactively approached companies on candidates’ behalf to uncover opportunities and discuss role creation. Reason for leaving: redundancy.

My primary focus was to generate interest in iDynamics’ PDA Service Management Solution; I supported and developed existing contacts, using research and telemarketing, and won new prospects for the Company. I also redesigned the product information literature to make it more accessible to customers. This role required me to have excellent communication skills, both on the telephone and the written word. My secondary role was to assist the Development Director: I booked online demonstrations and meetings with potential customers, and kept his diary and accurate records of all acquired prospects and call activity.

I supervised groups of up to twenty cleaners cleaning student flats, reporting to the site manager. I was responsible for ensuring that every flat was spotless and met the high standards of Gilds and the site manager. This position gave me a valuable insight into people management and I enjoyed the experience immensely.

I worked primarily on cleaning data and data entry on the new PASS pupil database, after a mass data migration. In addition I worked within the Headmaster’s office: preparing newsletters and other mailings, organising files and pupil information cards.
