Claire is the external affairs lead at NOAA Research, responsible for strategic communications and outreach with key stakeholders across the ocean, weather, and climate sectors. With over a decade of experience supporting government capacity building, her area of expertise lies in communications and project management to address critical environmental issues that challenge our world.Previously Claire was a Project Associate at Training Resources Group, Inc. providing strategic communications, outreach, and event support for USAID clients in four Offices (Global Climate Change, Forestry & Biodiversity, Water, and Energy & Infrastructure). Notable workshops include support for the inter-governmental Steering Committee on Climate Services for Resilient Development with the Department of State and the White House, and the 2016 USAID Global Environment Officers State-of-the-Art Workshop.Prior to TRG, Claire worked at Accenture Federal Services on a contract with USPS to build awareness of federal compliance requirements, and in the Office of Human Resources at American University as a training logistics specialist. Claire holds an MBA from American University and a BSBA from Valparaiso University and is PMD Pro Level 1 certified.
