I also provide content expertise to editing/reviewing Conventional and Tech Enhanced Items for Smarter Balanced 16. I use my knowledge of mathematics and education to revise the Smarter Balanced 14 item specifications to support the Summative assessment being developed for Smarter Balanced 16.

I accepted a part time position as mathematics instructor for adult education. I am responsible to lead students from concrete to abstract through the use of real world problem solving, hands on examples and practicing, metaphors and similes.
