- Preparing monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations- Reviewing accounts for discrepancies and resolving variances, presenting findings and commentaries- Preparing and lodging monthly BAS, quarterly royalty BAS, Payroll tax and Superannuation- Reviewing payroll (including payment in lieu, novated lease, salary sacrifice, backpay, bonus, etc.)- Managing inventory and cost accounting- Participating in Netsuite accounting system implementation- Maintaining documentation for financial department procedures to facilitate new employee training

- Taking full ownership of inventory accounting for production entity- Coordinating half-year/year-end stocktake and preparing a consolidated stocktake variance analysis- Designing inventory reports to enable strategic decision making by management team- Coordinating with production and procurement team to understand the process gaps and introducing shared workings/platform to bridge the communication gap between finance team and other departments- Managing vendors communication- Participating in Concur expense and PO system implementation

- Performing bank reconciliation for multi-currencies accounts- Processing employee expense reimbursement and reconcile company credit cards- Managing account payables and daily banking- Payroll processing and calculating monthly commissions for sales department- Preparing and reconciling BAS, IAS, payroll tax, WorkCover and relevant payments- Assisting with annual FBT and income tax returns as well as annual auditing- Maintaining fixed assets register, including depreciation, additions and disposal of fixed assets- Preparing month/year-end journals and adjustments including prepayments, accruals and provisions- Preparing consolidated financial report, and providing commentary on variances against budget- Coordinating with department managers to support annual budgeting process
