Being the face of royal mail to customers whilst delivering their mail and parcels. Helping customers with any queries or issues they were having regarding mail and parcels. Whilst at royal mail I worked in the parcel office handing parcels to customers, helping to track their items if they've gone missing or haven't arrived etc, organising data for the parcels and cash flow data. For two years I was elected the health and safety representative for the office. Taking seriously the health and safety of my colleagues was paramount. I had regular meetings with the management to see how we can improve the office and prevent future hazards.

I volunteered teaching at my local martial arts center. I have done various martial arts since I was five years old. Throughout my time I was teaching a class of 20 students assisting my own instructor. This enables me to develop confidence and also leadership skills. I worked in the reception desk before classes taking payments from customers and recording this on the register. I also provided customers and no customers with information about other classes at the center to try and gain future custom and more attendees to the classes.

Whilst there I had to locate items for the customers ranging from toys to washing machines and get them sent down to the customers within a two minute window.

Whilst on my college course I got to work in the onsite travel agents at East riding College (New Horizons). In the travel agents I had to learn how to use various online systems to book and browse holiday packages for customers ranging from national holiday (coach trips) to cruises. I had to use Microsoft office to create a window display showing customers the latest monthly holiday deals the agency was promoting. I communicated with various travel operators to be able to provide the customer with all possible information about their chosen holiday package.
