Loved raising funds from charitable trusts and foundations for the wonderful, selfless, volunteer lifeboat crews and beach lifeguards at the RNLI with a passion. Role included:• Managing large trust accounts and securing multi-year, high value gifts for anything from lifeboat station running costs or life-jackets to new lifeboats and major capital building appeals;• Being responsible for significant income targets on a regional level for the entire UK and Republic of Ireland;• Developing the donor stewardship programme and organising donor visits to lifeboat stations and beach units;• Volunteer management;• Organising large-scale lifeboat naming ceremony events, which included members of the Royal family on the guest list;

At MapInfo Australia I designed and delivered various MapInfo and MapInfo related training courses to a diverse mix of clients, usually at the Melbourne office, but also in Sydney, being one of only two trainers in the country who could deliver the actual programming course.The role included:•Preparing and quality assuring training documentation; •Tailoring existing courses to meet client’s needs (ranging from Bush Rangers and fire fighters to council staff and health workers)•Providing onsite consultancy to existing MapInfo customers
