Sales ResponsibilitiesAccountable for developing strategic and marketing plans to drive Special Event/Rental sales for the Live Nation venues - The Tabernacle, Cotton Club and Coca Cola Roxy. Plans include initiatives, competitive analysis and insight on new areas of opportunity. Established valuable relationship with decision makers at Fortune 500 companies. Nurture relationships with conventions, corporations, meeting planners, DMCs, associations, SMERF groups, hotels, and organizations such as Chamber of Commerce, Atlanta CVB, and GA MPI. Possess successful sales techniques such as prospecting, cold calling, out-of-office calls and presentations, handle inside sales and prepare proposals. Proactively solicit new business opportunities. Observe change in sales/Special Event industry and developed strategies to improve and adjust to those changes. Submit weekly reports to VP and SVPEvent Coordination ResponsibilitiesUnderstand all stages of event production from inception to completion. Creates a plan and coordinate event within critical timelines. Assist client needs from beginning to end with vendors by creating and distributing RFPs, and managing vendor contracts. Research and acquire Entertainment. Understand in-house operational departments responsibility, capabilities and limitations. Ensure proper event planning by distributing reports such as SEO and BEO to operational staff. Initiate weekly in-house operational meetings as well as coordinating clients’ meeting with event staff and vendors. Perform basic accounting functions and responsible for all event billing. Ensure all special events are executed properly and to client satisfaction while maximizing venue revenue.

Sterling Entertainment is an independent venue management and entertainment promotional company. In 2000 Live Nation, formally known as Clear Channel Entertainment acquired The Tabernacle.As part of a five-person management team, launched The Tabernacle from vacancy to a major concert and special event venue. Collaborated on the recruiting, hiring and training an operations team. Foster community relationships to further the interests of the venue. Created the Tabernacle’s Special Events business model and service offerings such as the rate sheet, which included the venue fees, bar pricing and production fees. Handled inside sales calls, inquiries and submitted proposal in a timely manner. Established vendor relationships.

The House of Blues Atlanta was open for eighteen days during the Olympic Games and functioned as a twenty-four hour operation from Gospel Brunches until evening concerts entertaining over 250,000 guestsTracked renovation expenses and supervised construction schedule forwarded to VP of Venue Development.Coordinated all travel and accommodations for high level management, support staff and Headline entertainment.On call manager during the Olympics.
