Led Satellite Programs and system engineering: Inmarsat’s 2nd Generation (4 satellites) and Inmarsat’s 3rd Generation (5 satellites). Championed the development and maintenance of orbital dynamics, automated procedures, telemetry displays for on-orbit operation of 9 communication satellites using Storm G2 Expert System, and the creation of supporting operating instructions utilized by the satellite controllers. Provided anomaly on-call support and led the anomaly recovery procedures to ensure the safety of the satellite and minimize any service outage. Conducted requirements definition; developed satellite operations and control systems; managed multiple vendor contracts to build and test satellite fleet and oversaw resources and budgets. Led as Mission Director for all five Inmarsat’s third generation of satellite launch and in-orbit testing activities. Conducted rehearsal and exercise programs prior to launches and the in-orbit testing.
