BackgroundI have 30 years technical and specialist experience including international exposure which includes working on assignments in Germany (Frankfurt), Trinidad Tobago (Port of Spain), New Zealand (New Plymouth) and in Egypt (Damietta) as a Senior Start Up Operator commissioning the first methanol plant. I have visited or worked in all our Global Methanex Facilities which has given me a complete view of our Manufacturing Process.I have 26 years experience as a Panel Operator responsible for operating the panel to monitor and optimise production for several processing units and a number of years as a Field Operator undertaking commissioning of Plant Equipment during start up / shutdown, responding to emergency situations, event tracking and troubleshooting of plant equipment. My working history and feedback from my assignments have always been of high regard.In Chile I have acted as the Training Co-ordinator responsible for training of the shift including coaching new panelman. I have attended yearly Hot Fire Training and have leaded the Team Fire Brigade on many occasions.In Chile I have participated in different projects including the commissioning and start up of Plants 2, 3 and 4. In Chile 4 I worked closely in the development of the oxygen plant, the first one in our facility.
