Also, I worked on two different teams.As a member of the Linux Core Team at Locaweb, I was responsible for several key contributions. During my time on the team, I:- Migrated all Qmail servers to Postfix, which was my first task upon joining the team.- Updated drivers for HP Smart Array CCISS and MegaRAID for kernel 2.6.x.- Designed and implemented a multi-master centralized authentication solution using OpenDJ for the shared hosting environment.- Created customized kernel packages with the GRSecurity patch.- Developed static PHP packages that allowed for the use of different versions on the same server without conflicts.- Developed Check-mk plugins and internal tools to automate operational tasks.- Created dynamic snippets (Debian preseed and Red Hat Kickstart) to automate server installations.- Developed and maintained the CFEngine configuration management platform, which managed over 4k servers, ensuring configuration consistency and preventing unavailability of services.- Designed and implemented various load balancing solutions using Keepalived and NginX.- Maintained hundreds of internal packages for Debian and CentOS.- Provided third-level support.As a member of the SaaS Core Team, my main contributions included:- Designing and implementing NoSQL solutions such as Redis, Memcached, and a MongoDB cluster (with 5 servers and over 500GB of data).- Creating a custom ISO with driver support for HP's B110i Smart Array Controller for CentOS 5.x.- Participating in the team responsible for designing and implementing the e-commerce infrastructure (including load balancing, web, and database servers).- Co-authoring Bricklayer, a package build system written in Python.- Automating the entire environment using CFEngine 3.

UnG is the biggest University in Guarulhos with 4 campus, 110 laboratories, 40 degree courses and more than 65,000 graduates.At UnG, my initial task was to standardize the server organization and operating systems. I then reconstructed the email system by dividing the services (Pop3, Imap, Webmail, SMTP and MX) across five distinct servers (one for Pop3/Imap, one for Webmail, one for SMTP, and two for MX). Additionally, I developed a PHP web interface for managing internet access in computer labs using Squid, Apache, PHP, and MySQL. I also designed and implemented wireless networks on all university campuses using OpenBSD as firewalls and Debian as AP/Bridge and DHCP servers, as well as Thin clients using repurposed hardware running Debian and Firefox.My other responsibilities included:- Installing and configuring Oracle and MySQL databases.- Implementing the backup environment using Bacula.- Developing backup tools and automating administrative tasks using Python and Shell scripting.- Serving as the Technical Coordinator.

Ananke is an Internet Hosting Provider focused on online marketing campaigns.At Ananke, I honed my skills while rebuilding the entire ISP infrastructure from scratch, including Web, FTP, Mail, Webmail, and DNS servers. I migrated all data from the old servers to the new environment, and designed and implemented a cloud environment using both Xen and VMware.Other responsibilities included:- Automating operational tasks through custom-developed backup scripts.- Implementing high-availability firewalls with traffic shaping using OpenBSD.- Implementing a new monitoring solution using Zabbix.- Connecting three data centers with OpenVPN to centralize server management.- Developing security policies and procedures.

DHN was the pioneer in the development and implementation of solutions based on free software.My first task working at DHN was to implement LTSP servers (Linux terminal server) to extend the life of old computers. Also, I Implemented Microsiga ERP systems using Suse Linux and PostgreSQL. Besides this, I was a Linux Instructor responsible for training the customers to adapt to ERP.Other roles and responsibilities were:- Implementing and maintaining Web, MTA, Webmail, Firewall, Proxy and DNS servers.- Developing centralized authentication solution using OpenLDAP, Pure-FTP, Samba and Qmail.- Designing and implementing firewalls using OpenBSD.

Belas Artes is a university focused on arts, architecture and design.I joined the Belas Artes IT team after moving from Goiania to Sao Paulo. Working at Belas Artes I had my first big professional challenge. It was migrating a firewall (Checkpoint) from Solaris to Slackware Linux with IPChains. After that, I needed to migrate the entire web infrastructure (including Web, MTA, DNS and FTP servers) from Solaris to Red Hat Linux.After becoming confident in my Linux skills, I needed to interconnect two offices through VPN using Slackware and FreeSWAN. And, I was responsible for fixing the big issues and automating tasks.
