The position was hands on which including building and repair of reciprocating rod pumps at various locations from Rocky Mountain House, Grande Prairie, Nisku, and Bonnyville Thermal. The position was hands on which including building and repair of reciprocating rod pumps at various locations from Rocky Mountain House, Grande Prairie, Nisku, and Bonnyville Thermal. The position also lead to exposure and training on other forms of artificial lift such as plunger lift and progressive cavity pumps. After 2 years of field based operations, the positions was relocated to Calgary where responsibilites shifted to well design of reciprocating rod pumps; troubleshooting with Calgary customers and wellsite supervisors; and technical support for the 13 various Canadian Weatherford field locations. The position required regular scheduled meetings with Weatherford sales representatives and Calgary based customers.
