Understanding why systems or components fail, repairing them, and improving them is a passion in my career as well as my personal hobbies. My mind is a mad scientist who keeps me awake at night with "what if" and "I wonder how we could do that differently". Happily, that often leads to "Eureka!!!" The scientific method has always been a close ally.My life has taken many amazing - and often unexpected - turns. From my time in the auto industry where I had the priveledge to work on maximum performance engine projects with such greats as Jim Kinsler of Kinsler Fuel Injection and Bill Hancock of Arrow Racing Engines to my Career as a mobile power generation specialist where I have had the honor to learn from the best - David Lockhart of Generator Director, my passion for the technical, my attention to detail, and my obsessive need to know the smallest details of how things work have been keys to my success. This combined with a genuine love of people has lead me to great success with another part time passion as a professional canyoneering guide and technical ropes instructor. I manage to have an incredible life while staying off Homeland Security's watch list.A serious injury in 2006 took my life on an unexpected path but that detour was an opportunity that ultimately lead to some profoundly inspiring people and experiences that have helped shape me personally and professionally.
