As Special Operations Exercise Director, I planned and executed contingency response exercises in Africa that required high level US Embassy and foreign government coordination and support. I leveraged a cross-functional team of subject matter experts to resolve operational issues while maintaining rapport with US and Foreign government entities, protected US equities, and established a pathway to cooperation.Major accomplishments in this role include: ● Planned, coordinated, and executed exercise and training programs involving over 25 African partner nations, 20 western allies with US Embassy country teams and Interagency Partners in support of operational activities.● Planned and executed multiple contingency response exercises spanning two continents, $10M of resources, and more than 500 personnel; oversaw daily operations, risk management, and logistics support to 3 nodes operating in the US, Europe and North Africa.● Implemented the USSOCOM directed Certification, Verification, Validation (CV2) program certifying Special Operations Command Africa as a Joint SOF Headquarters for the first time in its existence● Informed policy, enforced regulations, and supported my organization’s COVID-19 response plan to mitigate impact during initial pandemic response. Coordinated closely with organizational leaders and direct reports. Mitigated risk to my department by implementing a hybrid remote work policy to protect personnel from contracting or spreading COVID-19 without loss of productivity. Managed my team remotely for more than 12 months exceeding productivity goals.

As a Special Operations Strategic Planner, I led a cross-functional team to develop US Forces Korea’s first crisis response contingency plan in preparation for the Republic of Korea hosted 2018 Olympics which resulted in crisis management preparedness across US and foreign government agencies.As the Sensitive Activities Director, I was hand picked to build lasting relationships with US and foreign partner agencies to advance real world sensitive military programs providing strategic options to senior leaders during a critical period on the Korean Peninsula.Major accomplishments at Special Operations Command - Korea include: ● Oversaw the crisis action and deliberate planning for the Korean theater in support of US Forces Korea. Served as the organizations crisis response subject matter expert hand picked to draft a critical response plan to increase readiness at the 4-star level. Advised executive leadership on sensitive plans and integrated with interagency to advanced programs.● Established, operationalized, and synchronized the command’s first sensitive activities framework into the organization’s operational design and codified multiple planning efforts based on 4-star leader objectives in support of the US Military campaign objectives.● Appointed to serve as the focal point in the Korean Theater for sensitive special operations integration. Established a special operations community of interest to build relationships, foster collaboration, synchronization, and manage information flow across DOD, interagency, and US Special Operations Command.

As SOF Captain Career Course Director, I developed and implemented an exchange program between Special Operations and the Maneuver Center to establish interoperability and build relationships. Program integration added depth to respective programs that did not exist in either program by itself.Major accomplishments in this role include:● Coordinated and supervised the preparation and execution of the program of instruction for the Army Special Operations Captains Career Course to ensure doctrinally correct, effective, and quality instruction. Served as the faculty advisor to over 400 students annually.● Established a military officer exchange program with a sister program at the Maneuver Center of Excellence adding depth, building interoperability, and enhancing the educational experience for future Special Operations leaders.

As Operations Manager and Company Commander, I optimized operational resources by making programmatic adjustments to airborne proficiency training. Reinvested manpower savings into training programs of instruction increasing the quality of the entry level Green Beret.Major accomplishments at the 1st Special Warfare Training Group include:● Operations and resource management to over 2,400 students, 182 permanent party personnel, and 10 trainor advisor teams.● Responsible for the discipline, morale, and welfare of 55 noncommissioned officers, 2 civilians, and over 2,000 Special Forces Qualification Course students, the largest company in Army Special Operations.● Introduced processes and systems to streamline student management creating flexibility in the training program; resulted in the unit meeting Army Special Operations production goals.
