- During Covid 19, from early February 2020 until February 2022 I worked as an Essential Worker in the Food Service Industry looking for the Tech job market to open up. This provided me the ability to be of service to my community during the pandemic. This also allowed me to use my pre-college expertise in Food/Bar Service/Management having managed 4 bars and 2 grills within Pinetree Country Club (Kennesaw, GA) while working my way through college (1988 - 92).- This job also shows the high quality of my work ethic regardless of the problems being solved.

LINQ, and Entity Framework.- Overall code performance review, modifications, and mentoring related to enhanced scalability with EF and LINQ.- Re-coding of multiple LINQ queries being performed within the application retrieving reporting data.- Reducing multiple queries being executed from LINQ application code while within iterations of a previously retrieved List of data. All pertinent data needed to be returned in the initial List query prior to any iterations because of the volume of rows initially retrieved. Executing 17 queries per iteration was tolerable when only 10 rows were returned in the initial list. As business had grown the initial list now contained 1500+ rows.- High volume design revisions to rectify major scalability issues caused by un-optimized use of LINQ queries and Lambda expressions throughout the code base. Multiple Lambda “Where” clause expressions being appended causing a parent table to be rejoined into the query a second time.- Implementing the logic required to profile the dynamic SQL (EXEC sp_executesql string, params) produced and then optimize the LINQ Lambda expressions to create/enhance highly performing queries by properly structuring the data added to the Lambda expression.- Inspection of of the SQL execution plans of dynamic SQL after being being dissected and executed as normal queries and procs. SQL was optimized and indexes were added for enhanced performance.- Correction of AJAX controls sending 14+ separate combined server requests for report results rather than sending one request, properly forming scalable SQL, and combining query results in SQL on the DB Server that is then returned to the UI in the original order and format.

- The time was used to take care of my Mother with severe medical issues and 4 months in the Hospital/Rehab (Alzheimers/Dementia and heart afib) and then recuperate myself (working in non Computer Science areas).- This was the sole reason for my leaving 3M as I was not able to take more than 1.5 months off using Family Emergency Leave.
