I support Research and Development for Navy C4ISR systems. Currently, I am supporting the development of a systems of systems network and communications architecture that combines capabilities from the Navy, Air Force, and Army.

I supported the Navy’s Communications as a Service (CaaS) networking capability development. CaaS is the Navy’s contribution to the Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) strategy. In this position I provided engineering expertise in the design and implementation a tactical mesh network that incorporates new IP based RF communication links in support of mission critical application data delivery. This role required me to work closely with PMWs throughout the PEO C4I as well as the Naval Tactical Grid (NTG) Direct Reporting Program office. In addition to supporting the design and implementation of the CaaS capability as a part of the NTG, I developed acquisition materials to transition this capability into a Program of Record (POR)Prior to this, I served as the technical lead for the Booz Allen NAVWAR 5.0 Information Technology Team. In this role I supported MBSE development and created the NAVWAR 5.0 MBSE schema for model development. This schema is being used as the basis for model development throughout NAVWAR, NAVSEA, and NAVAIR. In addition to the MBSE efforts, I led the development of tactical and enterprise System of Systems Target Architectures that meet operational mission requirements. The target architectures were developed using mission and system level modeling, simulation, and analysis.

Responsible for the development and support of new programs in network technology. Supported the evaluation of Command and Control technologies for DARPA, systems engineering for NAVWAR 5.0 and OPNAV N81, the development of a management prototype for the JTRS Soldier Radio Waveform, and an Analysis of Alternatives for NGEN design and implementation.

Project Manager/Principle Investigator of several Research and Development projects for the Office of Naval Research that were based on my original concepts. Responsibilities included:• The recruitment, supervision, and training of Engineers and Scientists that supported Branch programs and projects• The establishment of performance objectives and performance evaluation for each member of the Branch• Working with the Branch technical staff to ensure the Branch projects were meeting their milestones and schedules within budget• Working cooperatively across the center as well as with leadership at the PEO C4I to develop new projects
