My responsibilities include overseeing the technical development of the software, and managing customer services such as training, consulting and technical support.Six years ago I realized the need for a computer simulation modeling/analysis tool designed and built specifically for the healthcare industry. Healthcare systems modeling tends to be the most complex and difficult to tackle. When attempted with a general purpose simulation tool, modeling healthcare systems can be a real nightmare, regardless of the modeler's skill level. I knew I needed to develop a software tool that was powerful and comprehensive, yet easy enough to use that even practicing healthcare professionals with an interest in improving their department's operational efficiency could take advantage of. This desire lead to the development of FlexSim HC.I personally designed and developed the first version of FlexSim HC. Now five years later after five major revisions and the combined expertise of a team of software developers working in conjunction with experienced healthcare professionals, FlexSim HC is recognized as the analytical world's most capable healthcare systems modeling tool. I am proud to have been associated with this achievement.

I was responsible for procuring future contracts with Mazda, and ensuring the successful design and production of current Mazda contracts. I had to meet the price and performance expectations of the customer, while satisfying the profit expectations of the directors and the capacity constraints of the company. The position involved extensive travel to Nagoya Japan to interface with Mazda management and design engineers, and to Detroit Michigan to interface with production engineers. -
