The trust have some great studies running and it was good to be back in research again. It was a turbulent time for the organisation and I learnt a great deal. I worked on an international Covid-19 vaccine trial which was very worthwhile. Much of the role involved overseeing studies and this was a really positive experience. I decided however that I wanted a slightly different role.

I started just a few days before Covid-19 arrived. My role involved advising care homes about discharge from hospital and care home admissions. I was giving guidance about PPE and swabbing. I was involved in swabbing at various care homes. It was a difficult time to start a new job and I decided after a few months the post was not for me. I was very sad to leave the role but felt it was the best option. I learnt alot. I stand against workplace bullying.
