Wood for Trees is a design and innovation management partner, who work with clients to deliver front end innovation projects and build capabilities.I worked with Wood for Trees(WfT) on a design placement for 5 months. I was selected after winning a design competition WfT set a couple of months before.During my time at Wood for Trees on worked on a number of projects at various scales, from shorter pacier pieces of work, to longer multi-phase projects. I helped the team prepare for fieldwork, set up workshops and capture research from the sessions.Whilst at Wood for Trees I was able to develop a new set of design skills in the areas of design research and innovation. Working in a small team also helped me communicate with my colleges and gain skills from the rest of the team. I used these skills to apply them to my final year projects.
