Design and implementation of 9 training programs on the appropriate collection, storage, analysis, dissemination, and overall management of data related to trafficking in persons (TiP), in line with national and internationally recognized standards and procedures related to data governance, data protection, and fundamental human rights, to benefit 40 frontline counter-trafficking Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. The design process includes a mapping activity and a country-specific needs assessment of CSOs involved in the fight against trafficking in persons and related topics. Creation of a mentoring program on data security for the National Coalition to Combat Human Trafficking in Costa Rica. Establishment of a regional network of civil society organizations focusing on data protection.

Preparation of the Guide for the implementation of mentoring programs for justice operators. The Guide collects the experience of the mentoring program for prosecutors specialized in human trafficking developed by the “Partnerships in Action to End Child Trafficking in Peru” project and provides recommendations to replicate the initiative.

Conduct a study to analyze and identify the risks linked to the double affectation of illegal armed actors and organized crime on refugees and migrants from Venezuela in 7 countries of Latin America and the Caribbean (Argentina, Aruba, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Curaçao). It includes fieldwork with 39 interviews with state and non-state actors and 6 focus groups with civil society and Venezuelan organizations. The recommendations of the study allow R4V Platform’s Protection Sector to improve access to existing protection services and mechanisms to mitigate the impact of acts of violence registered against the refugee and migrant population of Venezuela and to increase institutional capacities to respond to these situations.

Developed a national and regional analysis on criminal law and public policy instruments to cover organized crime and links to gender-based violence (GBV), sexual violence, disappearances, trafficking in persons, especially women and girls, and femicide, to adjust the legislation according to the Palermo Protocol and standardize the regional regulatory framework. The research focuses on Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, Peru, and the Dominican Republic, and it includes the review of 292 normative and legal documents, 29 questionnaires to public institutions, 30 interviews with public authorities, 3 focus group with academia and civil society, and 5 results feedback meetings with public authorities and regional experts.Project: Spotlight Initiative’s Regional Programme

Coordinated the team that developed the Training Manual on Human Trafficking for the Peruvian National Police. Development of research on online harmful behavior, especially bullying and sexting, committed by youth against other youth in Eastern European countries where Terre des Hommes has offices or partner organizations (Hungary, Romania, Moldova, Kosovo, Ukraine, Albania, and Bulgaria). It includes the asses of the current situation: legal framework, governmental bodies working on the topic, statistical information and case studies.

• Monitor and advise the National Multisectoral Commission on Human Trafficking and Smuggling and its working groups for the implementation of the National Action Plan Against Human Trafficking 2017-2021.• Represent the Directorate in the design and implementation of the Child Protection Agreement between the Office for Surveillance and the Fight Against Trafficking in Persons of the Department of State of the United States and Peru.• Elaborate bills about migration, human trafficking, smuggling law, forced labor, and slavery, especially the new National Action Plan Against Human Trafficking 2017-2021 and the Supreme Decree that approved the Temporary Permit for the Venezuelan migrants in Peru. • Monitor Police Officers' education on human trafficking and human smuggling, elaborate courses curricula and teach classes in the training and specialization courses for active police officers.• Represent the Directorate in the Forced Labour Working Group and the Migratory Management Working Group.

• Supervise and guide students to take care of pro bono cases related to identity rights and documentation of low-income citizens in San Juan de Lurigancho, one of the poorest districts of Lima (capital of Peru). • Conduct interviews, prepare a legal strategy of the cases and sponsor users in the administrative procedure. • Monitor student’s investigations on topics such as identity and gender, identity and intellectual property or identity and indigenous peoples. • As administrative responsibility: a member of the Infrastructure Commission of the School of Law.
