As a leading Director of Major Gifts, Colleen (Anderson) Morris leverages her 20+ yearsof global business leadership experience and skills in strategic communications, creative marketing, sales/development, and team collaboration to advance organizational missions to enhance revenue growth. With a Master of Science in sustainable tourism management and customer relationship management from New York University, she applies her knowledge of data-driven strategies, donor/customer segmentation, and relationship building to drive donor/customer retention, while building long-lasting relationships and partnerships. Colleen has contributed to significant revenue growth and organizational goals, earning her and her team several awards and recognitions, such as “Rookie of the Year", "One Team, One Dream", "Top Performing Chapter" and "Top Corporate Sponsorships".Colleen is proud of her team’s positive impact on JDRF’s Fund-A-Cure program which achieved record-high results using data-driven playbooks, intentional communication strategies, and audience/donor development. Colleen is also proud of her leadership partnering with several Boards on donor acquisition strategies and implementing community leader events that have generated significant sponsorship revenue. Colleen has held positions in the fields of hospitality, tourism, and higher education on a global scale, collaborating with culturally diverse organizations and teams in the Caribbean, Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia regions. Through these experiences, she has acquired valuable skills in internationalbusiness, cross-cultural communication, cultural sensitivity and awareness.Colleen’s proudest achievement though is being a mother to her three incredible children. When she’s not at her desk, you can find her outside running, hiking, playing tennis, or walking her Frenchie. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and volunteering in her community.
