Chief Engineer and Engineering Manager for a $60 million Lithium-Ion Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) product design, development, and operations and maintenance (O&M) program with over 100 energy storage units (ESU)s deployed in the U.S. and internationally. Supervised up to 12 direct reports across multiple engineering disciplines in addition to multiple short-term labor contractors and over 10 operational reports. Directly managed over $10 million of engineering. Supervised the management of the Energy Storage Lab for the program, including 3 asset custodians. Negotiated contract disputes to satisfactory resolutions. Managed the development of a new generation ESU, formal training program and O&M documents. Led cross-functional teams in estimating proposals and change orders.

Chief Engineer on a $60 million advanced gasification plant (AGP) at a brownfield site for a German client (Concord Blue), implementing client’s waste to energy (WTE) technology. Directly led all engineering development, totaling over $10 million, using earned value management. Managed all risks and opportunities (over 170) for the project. Supported negotiation of contract suspension when client failed to close financing. Developed other proposals totaling over $115 million.

Worked on front end engineering and design (FEED) and all front end loading (FEL) stages for multiple small capital projects at a Verso integrated pulp and paper mill.

Performed equipment and mechanical engineering and design in FEL II and FEL III stages. Assisted in preparing proposals and developing estimates on multiple projects, most notably the Eastman Isoburyric Acid Expansion; analyzed P&IDs and PFDs; completed pump and hydraulic calculations; created equipment lists and specifications.

Coordinated all supply chain management activities for a $450 million seamless pipe mill at a green field site (TPCO Seamless Pipe Mill)

CM Project Manager for 2 segments of a $2 billion industrial project at a green field site (Wacker Polysilicon plant). Managed construction valued at over $120 million.

Provided construction management on a nearly $500 million industrial project with over 3 million exposure hours at a green field site (Kevlar plant). Directly managed over $10 million worth of construction.

Supervisor of 36 union employees on new extrusion and product finishing lines. Charged with focusing on safety, training, certification, production, continuous improvement (Kaizen), and 5S initiatives.
