Over the 10 years we ran Akosia, our projects involved artistic professionals – filmmakers, musicians, writers, artists – to build an environment in which the children were guided through a creative process while being encouraged to respond to their own initiatives and ideas. The children learned a variety of communication and management skills, which enabled them to express themselves, build self-confidence and explore their imagination.We stoped our operations in Accra, Ghana in 2018.
