About Quinn Simpson
Most people know I'll always be the one to view the world as limitless and full of opportunity. My goal in life is to bring this lens into the lives of millions.Over the last two decades, I've worked as a coach and facilitator, training and coaching people all over the world. My gift and role in life is to inspire those whose role it is to inspire the next generation. Teachers and parents are my people as they are able to make or break the young ones of a society and consequently, can dramatically alter the future of our world. Therefore, I choose to inspire, champion and drive them towards being the best version of themselves. In 2011, I co-founded Graydin with McKenzie Cerri to share the power of coaching within educational communities around the world. Before that, I co-founded a small charity called Akosia when I was 24 with Maria Schonfeld. We facilitated creative projects for underprivileged children for 10 years. No longer in operation, though we made tremendous impact in the time we did. We ran 9 projects in Ghana, 3 in Mexico, 2 in Israel and 2 in Mongolia. All our projects stood by the belief that creativity unlocks potential.I'm currently working on a YA novel with my high school drama teacher, Jane Czarny. The working title is 'KC Kane: Overcoming'. KC Kane is not your average teenager. A gifted musician who lives on the spectrum, she brings her neuroatypical outlook to all of the usual teen struggles, from unrequited love to avoiding the mean group at school and dodging unsympathetic teachers. But there is a ghost haunting her, the woman who died while giving birth to her seventeen years earlier. Consumed with a pervasive sense of guilt that even her sweetly supportive father can’t overcome, KC turns to her loving community of friends for support when her plans for the future go sideways... My most recent focus is on starting Gedi Foundation. More to come! When I grow up, I want to be a talk show host (a dream I've had since I was 9!) Helping people share their stories with the world has been part of my purpose since I was very young. Whether that is through a podcast, an interview, a blog or a piece of writing, I believe people have incredible insights to share with the world. I want to tell their stories.Areas I'm passionate about include: the science of learning, education transformation, coaching, stories, anthropology, social enterprise, decision making, sustainable charitable initiatives, young people, mental strength, leadership, pattern seekers, media, people (and team) development, confidence, podcasts, motivation, women.
Listed skills include Workshop Facilitation, Coaching, Personal Development, Leadership Development, and 46 others.

Our team has a global perspective, varying backgrounds and relevant specialties – from highly regarded educational experts to qualified professional coaches to university researchers. Together we offer powerful and sustainable programmes that provide a positive approach to improving leadership, communication and wellbeing in schools.Robin Dyer, Second Master at Wellington College, in a discussion about Coaching in Education on LinkedIn said:"At Wellington College and Eagle House school we have made a serious attempt with the help of Graydin to develop a coherent teaching and pastoral care model which is based upon coaching. We have already found it hugely valuable. We have fro moved from a didactic model to one where student participation is the norm, with an ever greater emphasis on student responsibility for learning and decision-making. We find that this is more effective because the students really learn rather than dutifully accepting what they have been force fed. It is also more fun for them as students because they become more actively engaged rather than being passive. If it's more fun for students it is also likely to be more fun for us teachers. That can't be bad. Coaching, with it's close relative Harkness teaching, is genuinely helping us progress. I would also say from a management/leadership point of view that coaching is invaluable in developing staff." Show less
