In this role at Click Here I play several parts, from project estimation and timing to application architecture and deployment. It allows the purchaser of a Home Depot video gift card to record a personalize video message for the recipient. The purchaser can record a message one of two way. The most common way used was the webcam message recorder. For my work on this project I will be the named inventor of a Home Depot patent. This project was heavily branded for the Father’s Day holiday. The site launched May 20th 2010.http://3d.homedepot.comThe goal of this site was to get the users interacting with their gift cards. The idea is that the user holds the card in front of their webcam. After the application detects the gift card, they are presented with what appear to be a 3D gift box setting in front of their gift card using augmented reality. ●Designed, developed and supporting Mosso's Ruby on Rails product offering. ●Co-designed and developed Mosso's new customer facing Web 2.0 control panel.I started working for Rackspace in February 07, right away I was given the responsibility of designing and rolling out a Ruby on Rails hosting offering. The goal was to create a package that would give our customer a clustered and load-balanced system to host their Rails applications on. The Rails offering now uses LiteSpeed webserver running on Redhat Enterprise Linux 5. The product had met with great success, measured by happy customers.

Solved all technical challenges raised, due to an expanding wholesale company. ● Was able to bring uniformity to their security needs, such as virus protection, firewall, Intrusion Detection System, and VPN communications. ● Developed a backup system that could be used in case one of 2 crucial servers was to go down during business hours. The backup server could replace a server with all updated information in a matter of minutes. ● Using a Linux file server, I streamlined how documents were shared among the different departments. This also provided a way to back up every team members important documents easily.● Designed and developed a system that would allow Sunex’s customers to view and pay their monthlystatements online. My goal was to get the flat file to be dumped once a day, on to a MySQL database. Then using a web based(JSP) front end to run queries against the MySQL data source to show a customer their balance due, and give them a chance to pay it online. By the time I finished this project, I had a good understanding of the Tomcat web server, how to build a war file which contains my entire website, how to set up JNDI to easily make database queries, and how to deploy it on a Tomcat server.● Created an ecommerce website using OSCommerce which is an open source e-commerce solution. We did not want to use the default look of OSCommerce we needed the site to look like it was part of the company, using the company logo, and making good use of the company color scheme. Doing this project I learned how to write PHP 5 code, since I need to customize the site. Also I learned CSS, which is very powerful when it comes to managing the look of a web site.
