Developed a restructuring plan to eliminate debt, cut costs, and expand the business. Currently in implementation that has included the hiring of three news employees, and moving the business from a 2,500 sq ft facility to a 10,000 sq ft facility. In 2012 sales equaled $850,000 and to date in 2013 we have seen a rise of 15-120% month over month.

Candidate for Michigan State Representative in the 11th district in the August 7th 2012 primary ballot. My direct efforts included:• Raising and then managing a budget of $32,000.• A robust effort to develop a broad based coalition of support that included 15 elected officials, and 14 organizations; some of whom include Senator Glenn Anderson, former Representative Jim Plakas, the Detroit Regional, and Michigan Chambers of Commerce, the national education reform advocacy group Students First, and The Great Lakes Education Project.• Led 50 volunteers over the course of the campaign, which included knocking on 10,000 doors and rigorous election day GOTV efforts. While I was unsuccessful I took second place in a four-way primary.
