I Have been involved in the building industry for over 33yrs and in the paint business for most of those. Starting as a painter and then moving into the management side of things through to sales and now looking after many key accounts. Whilst working in the paint business i also had 8yrs in the security industry specialising in front line/Conflict management and utilised over 70 personal across 25 venues. This ran along side the paint business. I'm also a qualified painting inspector with the Institute of Corrosion (Icorr). I also manage the protective coatings business in my area writing up all P.C specifications. I have a proven track record in The management, sales and key accounts fields achieveing high standards in all three. I specialise in people and customer relationships being able to form close and trusted bonds that gain the best from staff and customers alike and I'm a trusted member of the painting fraternity. I have a positive can do attitude and always give 100% to any task. My ambition is to move upward in the market I am in and I have a genuine hunger for knowledge in the field I am in. I am fully committed to drive sales in the market place concious of Gp and Gm % but also very aware of competitor activity. I work for a multi branded one stop paint shop merchant with a very diverse range of customer. My daily aim is to help all my customers get the right products for the job by giving them the best service and advise. I am also proficient with Microsoft Excel, word, power point and outlook.
