Staff nurse - Orthopaedic trauma. Working in a busy trauma and orthopaedic ward. Duties and roles included- Providing the highest standard of clinical care to patients, supporting patients through pre & post surgical and recovery pathways. Supporting patients and their families in emotionally turbulent events, enabling patients to have the optimum level of post discharge care. Complex wound care management, patient observations and escalation, medication management, shift leadership.

Working for adult and adolescent clients and assisting with activities of living, enabling them to access all manner of health and social care services, providing clients with a safe and inclusive home environment, and ensuring clients needs are listened to and met.
