Responsible for training and support of all levels of staff and programs to ensure the fidelity of therapeutic interventions for early start through adult in the clinic, community, and educational settings. Duties also include establishing, organizing and overseeing all aspects of clinic operations.

Duties: Responsible for organizing, formulating and overseeing the delivery of early intervention through high school educational and behavioral programs for students with autism and/or severe and maladaptive behavior challenges. Duties include the design and implementation of appropriate learning environments for students. The majority of the tasks involve the conducting functional analyses for students and of existing learning environments. This includes the manipulation of environmental conditions to bring about the desired repertoires or pivotal behaviors of the learner and/or the instructor. Additional special projects include authorship of training material, assessment, and curriculum, as well as specialized design of parent, educator and social skills training programs.

Duties : Provide support and training to district, county, SELPA, and school site administrators and staff, paraprofessionals, instructional assistants, teachers, and parents/guardians in developing, implementing, monitoring and revising, when necessary, effective behavior intervention plans for students with severe and maladaptive behavior challenges. Conduct functional analysis assessments for students with complex or severe behaviors in accordance with Federal and California State Education Code laws, regulations and requirements and current professional best practices. Designed and delivered weekly instructional sessions for special education staff members selected to participate in the newly created Behavior Assistance & Support Program (BASP), a program designed to teach the fundamentals of applied behavior analysis, the application of ABA principles within the classroom, and their integration across various curriculum at varying grade levels. Monitored the performance and progress of students and teachers toward achieving their individualized learning/behavior goals and reviewed and analyzed data collection techniques by instructional staff and parents to evaluate the efficacy and accuracy of the presented data. Conducted collaborative team meetings with administrators and student instructional teams to ensure uniform implementation of learning/behavior plans and problem solve issues as they arose.
