I'm a communications professional with experience in the government and nonprofit sectors. I earned a master's degree in public policy and a bachelor's degree in political science and journalism.Three things my resume won't tell you: 1) I'm the eldest child of immigrants who works hard but also realizes how much policy has shaped my life: from great public schools to mass transit (...with which I have a love-hate relationship).2) My passionate for writing started early. I still have articles from my middle school newspaper!3) If I'm not writing, I'm probably reading, listening to a podcast, or practicing piano, a relatively new hobby that I've come to enjoy.
