Supporting human rights defenders, activists, journalists, researchers, and others on effective adoption and implementation of CDR tools, and collecting input and feedback about ways that CDR's technical offerings could better serve the communities for whom they're designed.

I support and train human rights defenders on documentation and digital security, primarily on the Martus secure human rights documentation software (https://www.martus.org/). I have trained human rights workers in Sub-Saharan Africa, Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe, who are documenting myriad issues including political prisoners, LGBTI rights, political corruption, women's rights, torture, killings, land rights and more.I also contribute to Martus development, including usability, security and design improvements, and provide remote support to partners and other human rights defenders who are documenting abuses in their communities.
