Analyst, Footwear Costing
Current• Request, validate, and notate footwear costing from factory partners at each sample gate, to include all J&M Men’s and Women’s lines• Compile all costing information into seasonal spreadsheets for tracking wholesale/retail margin progression• Maintain seasonal information on other footwear related items such as tooling, sku counts, sample costs, wholesale/retail price changes, cost savings opportunities• Create and distribute costing summaries following each seasonal sample review… Show more • Request, validate, and notate footwear costing from factory partners at each sample gate, to include all J&M Men’s and Women’s lines• Compile all costing information into seasonal spreadsheets for tracking wholesale/retail margin progression• Maintain seasonal information on other footwear related items such as tooling, sku counts, sample costs, wholesale/retail price changes, cost savings opportunities• Create and distribute costing summaries following each seasonal sample review milestone • Update seasonal and carryover costing, price lists, and freight rates through internal database• Assign target first costs for factories prior to seasonal development cycles and update as needed• Collaborate with Design and Development teams to review seasonal Cost Breakdowns to identify cost savings opportunities, particularly on margin-challenged groups• Work alongside Sourcing partners to troubleshoot invoice issues• Create, maintain, and update Costing team and Product Development calendars each season• Complete various analyses for materials, sku productivity, factory stack ranks, weighted margins, etc. using IBM PAX and other programs• Work alongside Sr. Costing Manager to ideate, develop, and implement new costing tools and processes Show less
