About Colton Orr
3D Character Artist at Insomniac GamesEver since I was a kid, creating worlds has been my passion. From an early age, art was my outlet that allowed me to show others the things that I saw in my head. Since then, I have been working to learn as much as possible about art and the human experience in order to create the most compelling worlds.Before coming to Champlain College, I was on track to study illustration at a traditional art school. I came from a strong traditional art background that included drawing, painting, and sculpting. Champlain College's game development program, allowed me to combine my love of entertainment design, creating art, and working on teams, but it also gave me the opportunity to learn 3D programs. I have experience in hard-surface modeling, sculpting, texturing, animation, digital painting, and concept design. I made top twenty nationwide in sales while working for Best Buy and I have previously worked as a dance instructor. My diverse background and wide range of artistic skills would make me useful on many different types of teams.
