I am a second year student at Indiana University Kelly School of Business, majoring in finance. I have a passion for leadership development, problem solving, as well as a strong work ethic. I have demonstrated these strengths in a variety of ways beginning in high school with my position as team captain on the basketball team and as an employee at High Lyft Equipment. Throughout these two years of employment with High Lyft Equipment sales and revenue increased by nearly 50%. While being apart of the company I was responsible for managing 3 other individuals day to day task. Now at Indiana University I seek self improvement in my personal brand as well as opportunities to strengthen my professional career. I have developed and strengthened my skills by focussing on economic as well as business classes that challenge my mathematical and quantitative skills. I have also joined student organizations in hope to change and better my community. Joining the IU Corps organization, I have the opportunity to give back the the city of Bloomington in a number of volunteer opportunities.I plan to grow my involvement this summer by learning from many Kelly Alumni mentors and getting a better understanding of different types of organizations and companies. In order to continue and strengthen my problem solving, leadership and work ethic strengths I look forward to securing a finance internship in the future. I see my self pursuing a financial business analysis path to improve companies performance as well as strengthen their community.
