Ever faced a "Blue Screen of Death," and remembered why pc-types keep saying, "Back up your files?" I have enjoyed some success at recovering lost or deleted files, and in getting disabled computers running again. *caveat emptor* is key in this game, no one wins them all. My philosophy as a tech is 1) do no harm, 2) take the least invasive, most conservative approaches first, 3) If I can't recover your files, I don't charge. PC or Mac. Newsletters, both print and email, the web site and social media all were on my plate at St. Andrews Center. I worked with volunteer groups and special projects like the Latino Arts Project and have been known to solve plumbing problems. Also repaired the elevator stop-mechanism.Computer system quality and security are also an area of interest. I maintain the office network of pc and mac computers.I serve on the Center's facilities Committee and was the agency's webmaster until mid-2012.

This was a blending of two talented staffs into one team with high standards and higher expectations. It was not easy, and not always fun, but always worth doing and worth doing with highest quality and journalistic ethics.

This was a 20-year love affair with the readers of the newspaper.
