Manage team of 10 developers and analysts in system design, implementation and support.

Responsible for content creation, advertising, production and manufacturing systems at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the largest newspaper in the Southeast, part of Cox Media Group. Business activities supported include newsroom content creation, advertising order entry, advertising production, product planning, product manufacturing, press plate manufacturing and content archiving. Managed team of 11 developers and analysts in system design, implementation and support.

Responsible for production systems at the Florida Times-Union, including editorial, display advertising, classified advertising and output management. Managed team of 14 programmers and technicians in systems development, support and administration.

Responsible for editorial production system, including client and server configuration, database management and development of interfaces with other production systems. Also responsible for intranet, including custom applications to improve communications and workflow.

Responsible for creating custom programs and performing updates necessary for the daily operation of jacksonville.com, the Florida Times-Union's Web site. Also responsible for providing technical support to other members of Web development team, as well as newsroom and editorial library staff.

Responsible for installation and maintenance of pagination system, database administration, user training, design and implementation of the paper's first Web site and troubleshooting Unix, Macintosh, Windows and OS/2 systems.

In addition to writing and editing, responsibilities included integrating computer systems into newsrooms, troubleshooting output issues and preparing graphics on a variety of systems.
